Some snow still left at the camps. 2006-05-27 Brent Miller 2006-05-29 High Meadow Springs Lots of water flowing! 2006-05-28 Brent Miller 2006-06-11 Trailfork Water is running good out of the pipe at the Spring. French 2006-07-04 High Meadow Springs Good water supply. The upper 30 feet of the spring was beginning to dry out. 2006-06-16 Mike Peralez 2006-07-05 South Fork Meadows Lots of water. Beautiful, cool, and refreshing. You'll hear it long before you see it. 2006-06-30 Ricardo 2006-07-05 Lodgepole Spring It's dry down by the lake, but there is plenty of water if you follow the dry bed up a couple of hundred yards. When you see lots of green plants, that's the best spot to filter. 2006-06-30 Ricardo 2006-07-05 Lodgepole Spring Spring is still running (about 200 yards from Dry Lake). Best location for filling up is near the greenery. 2006-07-02 Steve & Haan-Fawn 2006-08-09 Jackstraw drying up, but enough of a flow to work. 2006-07-31 lusciouslars 2006-08-23 High Creek Trailcamp Still plenty of water flowing. 2006-08-20 BLT 2006-09-02 Halfway Trailcamp Water source excellent. Good flow. 2006-08-26 Paul Goymerac 2006-09-03 Trailfork looks dry to me. could not find water. 2006-09-02 lusciouslars 2006-09-03 Columbine enough of a flow to work. 2006-09-02 lusciouslars 2006-09-03 Limber Pine (.3 mi.west) enough of a flow to work. 2006-09-02 lusciouslars 2006-09-03 Lodgepole Spring Good flow and could filter below the greenery. Dry Lake is still very full (but I wouldn't filter from it unless I had to). 2006-09-03 Phil R 2006-09-03 Johns Meadow Both streams of either side of the camp are flowing well. YEAR-07-30 Phil R 2006-09-21 High Meadow Springs Water flow minimal but suitable for use with water filter. Note: I went to the first place I saw water. There may be another spot in the meadow that is more suitable. 2006-09-14 Hikin' Jim 2006-09-21 Fish Creek Saddle No water at saddle. Supposedly, there is a seasonal spring (not Lodgepole) just West of the saddle, but no sign of water this time of year. 2006-09-13 Hikin' Jim 2006-09-21 Jackstraw Not a lot of water, but enough to use with a water filter. There was also a creek running well about half way up to Jackstraw from the Forsee trail head. There are also some springs marked some distance along the trail below Jackstraw springs. Very minimal water here. You'd really have to work at it to get water here. It was mostly in puddles on the trail. Yuck. 2006-09-15 Hikin' Jim 2006-09-21 Johns Meadow As always, plenty of water in both creeks on either side of the trail camp at John's Meadow. Also some water in creeks on trail from Forsee Cr. trailhead. 2006-09-16 Hikin' Jim 2006-09-21 Lodgepole Spring Plenty of water. Easy to use with filter. 2006-09-13 Hikin' Jim 2006-09-21 Trailfork Maybe I didn't know where to look, but I rustled around in the Willows but saw no useable water. I suppose if you were desperate you could filter the mud ... good luck. 2006-09-15 Hikin' Jim 2006-09-21 South Fork Meadows ABUNDANT water. Can't go wrong here. 2006-09-13 Hikin' Jim 2006-09-21 Lodgepole Spring Actually this comment is for DRY LAKE (don't know why they don't have that option). PLENTY of water in the Lake. 2006-09-14 Hikin' Jim 2006-09-30 Alger TrailCamp Plenty of water 2006-09-23 Steel 2006-09-30 Dobbs Trailcamp Plenty of water 2006-09-23 Steel 2006-09-30 Saxton Trailcamp (.2 mi.west) Water before camp and at Plummer meadows flowing good 2006-09-24 Steel 2006-10-02 Trailfork Water b a r e l y trickling out of pipe into small pool, enough to pump out of. Pipe located in the bushes below the trail. 2006-10-01 Ramblindave 2006-10-09 High Creek Trailcamp Good Flow 2006-10-07 Bill G. 2006-10-09 Saxton Trailcamp (.2 mi.west) Good Flow 2006-10-07 Bill G. 2006-10-09 Alger TrailCamp Great Flow 2006-10-08 Bill G. 2006-10-15 Alger TrailCamp Excellent Flow of water. Also, there is a spring between the junction of the Momyer Creek Trail and the trail over to Alger creek. There is adequate but not abundant water at that spring. if you needed water and were headed to the San Bernardino Peak area, you could get water at the spring, saving about 15 minutes when compared with going all the way to Alger Trail Camp, and the spring is before you lose all that elevation descending from the old Dobb's Flume to Alger Trail Camp. 2006-10-13 Hikin' Jim 2006-10-15 Dobbs Trailcamp Excellent source of water in both branches of the creek (Dobbs T.C. is at the confluence of two branches of Falls Creek). 2006-10-13 Hikin' Jim 2006-11-13 High Meadow Springs good flow 2006-11-11 John 2006-11-13 Limber Pine (.3 mi.west) good flow 2006-11-11 John
