Great platform for a project car - or just as a local runabout .
This car was purchased with under 50k miles back in 1980, and today has about 71k miles on it. The odometer has never been flipped - these are real original miles. The car just really hasn't been driven that many miles per year. It's been our "mountain car", driven almost exclusively within the Big Bear valley for the past 30 years. However, we no longer need it to serve that purpose for us, and are hoping to find it a good home with someone interested in bringing it back to it's former glory.
The car starts, and drives - every time. We've still been using it as a runabout in Big Bear the last several years - even this summer and fall for several trips to the hardware store. We just took it out recently in mid November for a drive around the lake and to go fishing.
The interior does need some work, in terms of sun damaged upholstery, but overall this car still holds its own. It is definitely in drivable condition.
Front bench seat splits in the middle, and the rear seat folds down, as well as the divider to the trunk, so you can create a tremendous cargo area inside this car.
